Share of responsibilities

Updated 3/2023

The table on the share of responsibilities clarifies questions regarding the maintenance and repair of the apartments. Tenants are bound to inform about the defects in their apartment. The care and upkeep of the apartment is always the tenant’s responsibility. The costs caused by negligence, or faulty maintenance by the tenant will be charged from the tenant according to the price list.

The table on the share of responsibilities further below applies to normal living, wear, and aging. The general principle is that the tenant is responsible for the installations they have purchased, regardless of the table on the share of responsibilities. When the tenant causes damage (inadvertently or intentionally), they are responsible for the costs despite the fact who is responsible for the task. Please note, that the tenant is always responsible for the damage caused by visitors and pets. Remember to purchase and update your home insurance!
