New building in Hipposkylä

We are planning a new building to Hippoksenkatu, Kissanmaa area. This new building consists of 66 apartments. Apartments have practical layouts. Studio-apartments are 27,5-35m² in size, 1-bedroom-apartments are 38-45m² and 2-bedroom-apartments are 56m². Building permit was granted in September 2023, and the estimated completion of the building is at the end of 2024. Application period to these apartments will begin in Spring 2024.
The modern and energy-efficient housing complex offers its residents excellent living comfort: there will be a gym, geothermal heating, solar panels, sauna/co-working facilities and an apartment-specific biowaste collection system. With the patented BER biowaste collection system, the recycling of biowaste is handled directly from the apartment kitchen. Bio-waste is washed through the waste mill to its own separate and ventilated collection tank. In the tank, most of the water is separated from the biowaste and the clarified water can be directed to the sewer network. The underground tank prevents many of the challenges caused by traditional waste containers.
The new building meets the requirements of an energy class A. The housing complex is centrally located near Tampere University of Applied Sciences, TAYS and Kauppi campus of Tampere University.
